The purpose of this website is to share my essays and commentary which I think would be of interest to other people.  I do not write for this blog or for its audience.  I write for myself and sometimes decide to share the products of my cogitation.  Because of its nature, this blog will contain hodgepodge pieces of no relation to each other except that they are my opinions.
